By using MakeCarousel, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

• Account information — your name, email address, and profile picture provided via Google or LinkedIn OAuth
• Content you create — carousel titles, slide text, uploaded images, and template preferences stored to deliver and improve the Service
• Voice data — audio recordings used solely for real-time transcription; not stored after processing
• Usage data — pages visited, features used, and error logs collected via analytics to improve the product
• Payment data — processed exclusively by Stripe; we never store card details

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Authenticate your identity and manage your account
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Send transactional emails (receipts, password resets)
• Analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve features (no individual profiling)
• Respond to support requests

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your content to train AI models without explicit consent.

We use the following trusted third-party services:

• Supabase — secure database and authentication storage (EU-based servers available)
• Stripe — payment processing (PCI-DSS compliant)
• OpenAI / Replicate — AI content and image generation; your prompts are subject to their respective privacy policies
• Bytescale — file storage for uploaded and generated images
• Google Tag Manager — analytics and conversion tracking

We use session cookies necessary for authentication and functionality. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect Service functionality.

We retain your account and content data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Voice recordings used for transcription are processed in real time and are not stored on our servers.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict certain types of processing
• Export your data in a portable format (GDPR Article 20)

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, JWT-signed sessions, and role-based access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice in the Service. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
